RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY (BEVEL)

This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines how Brightvale Industrial Limited (trading as Bevel) (“Bevel”, “we”, “us”, “our”) manages returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations made through our online marketplace (the “Service”).
- Returns
1.1
Returns are only accepted for items that are damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied.
1.2
Due to the nature of construction materials, most items cannot be returned once delivered or opened.
1.3
Buyers must inspect deliveries upon arrival and report any issues within 48 hours of delivery. Reports must include:
clear photographic evidence, and
the order reference number.
1.4
All return requests must be submitted to team@bevelmarket.com .
- Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded, except where required by law:
2.1 Cement, plaster, tile adhesive, and other bagged binders once opened 2.2 Aggregates, sand, ballast, and other loose or bulk materials once delivered 2.3 Cut-to-size timber, sheet materials, or bespoke joinery 2.4 Made-to-order items (e.g., special finishes, custom specifications) 2.5 Opened insulation rolls, membranes, felts, and vapour barriers 2.6 Opened paints, sealants, foams, resins, or chemical products 2.7 Any item marked as “Non-returnable” on the product listing
- Refunds
3.1
Refunds are issued only after Bevel completes an internal review and investigation. This may include:
verifying the claim with the supplier,
assessing photographic evidence, and
requesting further details from the buyer.
3.2
Bevel reserves the right to deny or adjust refund claims where sufficient evidence is not provided or where the item’s condition cannot be verified.
3.3
Once approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
3.4
Delivery charges are non-refundable except where:
the item was misdescribed,
the supplier made an error, or
delivery failed due to supplier fault.
3.5
All refund communications must be sent to team@bevelmarket.com .
- Exchanges
4.1
Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on supplier availability and stock.
4.2
Where a replacement is available, Bevel will coordinate an exchange directly with the supplier.
4.3
If a replacement is not available, a refund may be issued instead following the same verification process as in section 3.
- Order Cancellations
5.1
Orders may be cancelled before a buyer accepts a seller’s quote.
5.2
Once a quote has been accepted and payment has been made, cancellations are no longer guaranteed and are at the supplier’s discretion (subject to statutory rights).
5.3
If a supplier cannot fulfil an order after quote acceptance, Bevel will issue a full refund or arrange a suitable alternative.
5.4
To request a cancellation, contact team@bevelmarket.com immediately with the order reference.
- Process
6.1
All return, refund, exchange, and cancellation requests must be made directly through Bevel.
6.2
Customers must not contact suppliers independently. Bevel manages all communication, verification, and payment processes to ensure proper record-keeping, fairness, and safety.
6.3
